Why the Name ARMOR?

The name ARMOR ROOFING | EXTERIORS was chosen with purpose. Roofing is about protection, but for our family, the word ARMOR represents something much deeper. It reflects our faith, the values we want our company to stand for, and the responsibility we have to protect the people and properties entrusted to us. The name was inspired by the biblical Armor of God described in Ephesians 6:10-18. The passage speaks about truth, righteousness, faith, preparation, salvation, and standing firm. Those principles have meaning in our personal lives, and they influence the standards we want represented by the ARMOR name.

More Than a Company Name

For us, ARMOR represents protection, strength, integrity, and faith. Those aren't simply words we want associated with our brand. They are standards we work to carry into the way we communicate with customers, make decisions, perform our work, and take responsibility when someone trusts us with their home or property. We know a roofing company cannot earn someone's trust through a name, logo, or slogan. Trust has to be earned through actions. It comes from telling the truth, keeping commitments, doing quality work, communicating when things don't go according to plan, and standing behind what we do.

Faith at the Foundation

Another verse that has special meaning to our family and our company is Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." That verse is a reminder of where our strength comes from. Building a business comes with challenges, difficult decisions, successes, failures, and opportunities to grow. Through all of it, our faith reminds us to remain grounded, work hard, treat people with respect, and trust God with the path ahead. Our faith is not something we use as a marketing slogan. It is part of the foundation behind why ARMOR was created and the standards we continually work toward as a family and as a company.

What ARMOR Means to Us

When we put the ARMOR name on a truck, sign, proposal, or completed project, our family's name and reputation are represented by it. That's something we take seriously. Our faith doesn't mean we claim to be perfect. It gives us a standard to continually work toward in the way we operate our business, treat other people, handle challenges, and take responsibility for the work we perform.

ARMOR is more than the name of our company. It represents what we believe, how we want to serve people, and the kind of company we want to build.
