ARMOR ROOFING | EXTERIORS is a family-owned roofing and exterior restoration company based in Plano, Texas, serving homeowners, property managers, HOAs, multifamily communities, investors, and commercial property owners throughout Dallas-Fort Worth and North Texas.
Our team brings more than 45 years of combined experience in roofing, construction, restoration, property management, and project management. We provide professional roof inspections, roof repairs, complete roof replacements, storm damage restoration, and exterior services for residential, multifamily, and commercial properties throughout the DFW Metroplex. We built ARMOR around a simple belief: treat people the way we would want our own family to be treated. That means communicating clearly, doing what we say we are going to do, providing honest recommendations, performing quality work, and standing behind the work after the project is complete.
That approach starts with giving our customers honest information about their property. If your roof can be repaired instead of replaced, we’ll tell you. If we inspect your roof after a storm and don’t find damage, we won’t recommend filing an unnecessary insurance claim. When replacement is the right solution, we’ll explain your options so you can make an informed decision about your property. Whether we’re working on a family home, rental property, HOA community, multifamily property, or commercial building, we bring the same level of communication, documentation, property protection, and attention to the project from the initial inspection through final completion.
I'm Marc Brodt, founder and owner of ARMOR ROOFING | EXTERIORS. Before starting ARMOR, I spent years building and owning a marketing company and later served as an executive with a large property management company. Roofing wasn't something I originally planned to pursue. I got into the industry almost by chance, but once I did, I loved it. What stood out to me was the opportunity to genuinely help people. The more time I spent in the roofing industry, the more I knew I wanted to build my own company. I wanted the freedom to do things our way, establish our own standards, and make decisions based on what was right for the customer and their property rather than having someone outside the company dictate how we should take care of them.
That vision became ARMOR ROOFING | EXTERIORS.
My wife, Jessica, and our three children are a big part of why I built ARMOR ROOFING | EXTERIORS. As a husband and father, I wanted to build something that represented our family's values and created a legacy our children could be proud of. North Texas is our home. We live here, raise our family here, operate our business here, and serve our customers here. We're not a national roofing chain or a company that arrives after a major hailstorm and disappears when the work slows down. This is our home, our business, and our reputation.
We believe our job is to provide customers with honest information so they can make an informed decision about their property. Sometimes that means a complete roof replacement. Other times, a roof repair may be all that is necessary. We want to be the roofing company that tells you when your roof doesn't need to be replaced just as confidently as we'll tell you when it does. We believe in thorough inspections, complete photo documentation, clear communication, quality workmanship, and giving our customers real options without unnecessary pressure.
